I just love watching the boys play in their own little world. Their daddy use to play the same way! Precious memories flooded my soul!

Huntsville's Tornado

I didn't take this amazing picture -Huntsville had an unbelievable tornado that came through this week, Tuesday night around 5:30. This is a shot of it over First Baptist Church about 1 mile from our church. Scott and about 5 men were at church and saw it go overhead. It took the metal roof off of the church next door to ours. We are so thankful there were no major injuries or fatalities.

What Do Mama & Papa Do All Day?

Susan bought them this when she came after Christmas. They have been working on it for about a little over a week. We would hear, "We're going to put it back in the box", "We need Treacy, Nat and Melanie", "Call in the troops", "Maybe we'll have it ready by next Christmas" and then today..... see Papa's note.

Burns Visit

The only "venture" we did was to go to Botanical Garden Holiday Train display on Saturday!

Thought you'd like to see Mama & Papa's new job! David hired Seth and John to do a realty mailout, but you know Mama, she likes projects so she's the one that is going to get a paycheck from David!

Renstrom Visit

Leigh Anna is "retriving" a fragment specimen of Papa's kidney stone to be taken to his doctor for analysis! Mama Ward had her mother's nurses pin. Susan took it home and is going to give it to Leigh Anna when she graduates from nursing school next year! That would be Leigh Anna's great grandmother!

Merry Christmas 2009

We had Christmas on Friday night before David's family went to Greensboro, NC on Saturday to be with Emily's family (5 inches of snow and cousins were waiting on the boys - they have had a ball.)

Both John David and Hudson love little men, horses, soldiers, etc.

They love books!

Today, Christmas Day, Mama Ward made Grandma Franks' rolls and waldoff salad.

All is good - Stone gone, Tickets arrived!

Is Papa packing his bags for Pasadena? You will have to ask HIM that question!!!

Things were "clear as a (Christmas) bell" and Dr. Z was able to laser that stone! Papa is home and resting well!

Pray for Dr. Z and Papa today

Papa will be having surgery to remove (laser) a large kidney stone. Last Wed., they went in and were not able to blast it -Too much debris and not clear enough. We are headed to the hospital this morning and his surgery starts at 8:30 Central time. Thank you for your prayers.

JDP is 3 and he knows the true meaning of Christmas!

The boys along with David spent the night with us last night because Emily had a Youth Girls Spend the Night Party at their house. John David loves to play with this manger scene and it is very special to me because we have had it since David was JDP's age. Today after they left, this is the way I found it. John David knows the TRUE meaning of Christmas, doesn't he?

Just your every Sunday wear!

Sometimes you just have to make a statement! We really didn't know what each was wearing but you did see more of this at church than a regular Sunday! Roll Tide Roll!

Gigi found a fun book at SAMS this week! It reminded us of our Natalie's beautiful state of ALASKA. So Greta and Will, be looking for the mailman. I'm sending you one!
