The Christmas Holiday Has Started!

See, Mama & Papa Ward already have their tree up! We placed it in the living room and the Gossett's tree is in the sitting room.
They left yesterday for Charlotte, loaded with their Christmas!
Charlotte- Here we come! OK, Pam and Susan, you are in charge - now you try to keep up with them! They are always busy doing something for others!
Well, I had to put one picture of our precious grandsons!

Thanksgiving 2007

Thanksgiving 2007

Caleb in charge of the turkey!
We were invited to a special friend's house - the Van Dykes for Thanksgiving.
God is good - ALL THE TIME!

Scott's Dad - Jim Gossett

There are 4 generations in this picture! We enjoyed having Jim come to the house on Wednesday. We fixed him his favorite meal- pork chops, pinto beans, potatoes, and cornbread. Pray that his cough will improve. He continues to have some respiratory problems.

We love John being home!

John loved taking a nap in the hammock, before the cold front came in.

This is Hudson - Isn't he precious???
Hudson is such a blessing!

It's a Beautiful Fall in Huntsville!

Scott officiated Justin Sutton's wedding on Monte Sano Mt. (10 minutes from the church) The leaves were beautiful!

This was our first Sunday dinner with Hudson! Emily's mom was visiting - what a help she was! She brought Emily and Hudson to the house after church. They were all sad to have her leave. Thank you, Karen!
Precious Hudson! He sat in the bay window while we ate.

Emily is ready to go!

John David is going to be such a sweet big brother! May God protect Emily and Hudson during this labor and delivery - in His timing! It was extra hot! We went to Rosie's today for lunch with everyone, including Emily's parents. She ordered hers extra hot and that is what she did with John David and he was born the next day! We are waiting!

Treats and Treats!

Papa went with us!
Well, yes, times have changed with grandchildren. We didn't go "trick or treating" we just went to say hello to our 3 neighbors.
John David really enjoyed giving out candy.
When he visited the Lumpkins, he gave them candy out of his bucket. Isn't that precious?

But mostly we enjoyed just waiting on the steps for our next surprise!
David and Emily had their last Real Estate class on Wednesday night. Just in time for Hudson's arrival! We are so excited.

What Have Mama & Papa Ward Been Doing?

Last week, they began being "Reading Buddies" at West Huntsville Elementary School. They do this from 9:30-10:30 on Wednesdays and then go to church for the noon prayer meeting.

We began taking basketmaking classes from a lady in our neighborhood. Dad came to help us, but next week we are getting him to make one too! He said, "Just don't tell my breakfast buddies". He actually was excellent in this craft. His engineering kicked in! Watch out for Christmas presents!
They help me once a month with cooking supper for the youth!
Visiting grandkids
Going to BAMA Football games!

Botanical Garden
Visiting special friends!
Mom made green fleece vests for my father-in-law's assisted living choir.
Actually, I'm having trouble keeping up with them!
