Spring is for planting, hummingbirds, etc. - New Life!
Today, I enjoyed shopping at Huntsville Botanical Garden for the plants. I even bought a small seedling from the 100+ year old dogwood that is there! Still not sure where I will plant it, but...
The best news of the day - last month Scott and Christine gave their heart to the Lord and wanted Scott to marry them, so today at 3:30! Now that is new LIFE!! We praise the Lord for this sweet couple.
Seth was invited to attend a Leadership Conference at U of A on April 2 & 3, and we "tagged" along and stayed in the apartment. We are so proud of Seth!
Mama Ward and Aunt Eleanor
Great timing - we got to see Uncle Donnie (Papa's brother) and Aunt Eleanor. They were in Tuscaloosa for the morning and stopped by the apartment while we were there.
Also John Zeller came through for a quick visit. Mama and Papa are always glad to see John and Katie. Although, they told him he couldn't come by because Katie wasn't with him. He said (as only John can) "I left her home to cut grass!"
We also got to go out and eat with Mama Ward's sister, Frances.
Uncle Kermit's health is failing, but we were so excited that he was able to eat at Red Lobster with us! Their daughter, Darien, is such a wonderful caregiver for her parents.
