Leigh Anna is "retriving" a fragment specimen of Papa's kidney stone to be taken to his doctor for analysis! Mama Ward had her mother's nurses pin. Susan took it home and is going to give it to Leigh Anna when she graduates from nursing school next year! That would be Leigh Anna's great grandmother! 
We had Christmas on Friday night before David's family went to Greensboro, NC on Saturday to be with Emily's family (5 inches of snow and cousins were waiting on the boys - they have had a ball.)
Both John David and Hudson love little men, horses, soldiers, etc.

Today, Christmas Day, Mama Ward made Grandma Franks' rolls and waldoff salad.

Things were "clear as a (Christmas) bell" and Dr. Z was able to laser that stone! Papa is home and resting well!
The boys along with David spent the night with us last night because Emily had a Youth Girls Spend the Night Party at their house. John David loves to play with this manger scene and it is very special to me because we have had it since David was JDP's age. Today after they left, this is the way I found it. John David knows the TRUE meaning of Christmas, doesn't he?
Sometimes you just have to make a statement! We really didn't know what each was wearing but you did see more of this at church than a regular Sunday! Roll Tide Roll!
Gigi found a fun book at SAMS this week! It reminded us of our Natalie's beautiful state of ALASKA. So Greta and Will, be looking for the mailman. I'm sending you one!

They visited......
We had a wonderful visit with them yesterday. Today they called and they received word today that Bennett's recent tests reveal that he has pancreatic cancer. Pray for Bennett and Jeane. May God's hand cover them! 
Boy, Auburn was ready for Bama. Scott and I went to the game and enjoyed it (at the END)!
We talked to them this week and Bennett is very sick. I am planning to take Papa to see him on Monday in Kentucky. These pics were made on their last visit together in March 2009. Go to this entry and you will see when they were reunited in 2007.
Papa has shelled 60 POUNDS of pecans just this week! Remember Grandaddy Ward doing that and supplying the whole family! Papa even sent some to Mobile so "the sisters" could use them as they do their fruitcakes next week!
