Oh, My, What a Project!

Yes, this started off as simply changing countertops and quickly became a big job (about 2 weeks of mess)! But I am thankful for the beautiful update. All through the dust and dirt, I was looking forward to "putting the bow on" by placing my fresh pink tulips on a clean counter and that was done yesterday! Sharon, I need your input (and anyone else that cares) - I need a splash of color or something more. Just no more cutting or grinding! Open to suggestions!

The Ward family is celebrating Mercy Renstrom's birth. March 1, 2010, 10 lb. 2 oz. 22 " long in Raleigh, NC. This is Mama and Papa's 10th great grandchild. Mercy's dad is , Daniel, my sister, Susan's, oldest child. Here is Daniel, Danielle, Bennett, Eden and Mercy.

We were preparing for some family pictures! Graham and I were ready. He has grown up so fast. He is such a little man! He really is on the go and loves to explore!

This is one of our favorite times of the week - Sunday lunch together! Poor Graham looks like he is in right field but he didn't seem to mind. Our little grandsons are so precious. David and Emily are such awesome parents! I am constantly thinking....We are so blessed!

I just love watching the boys play in their own little world. Their daddy use to play the same way! Precious memories flooded my soul!

Huntsville's Tornado

I didn't take this amazing picture -Huntsville had an unbelievable tornado that came through this week, Tuesday night around 5:30. This is a shot of it over First Baptist Church about 1 mile from our church. Scott and about 5 men were at church and saw it go overhead. It took the metal roof off of the church next door to ours. We are so thankful there were no major injuries or fatalities.

What Do Mama & Papa Do All Day?

Susan bought them this when she came after Christmas. They have been working on it for about a little over a week. We would hear, "We're going to put it back in the box", "We need Treacy, Nat and Melanie", "Call in the troops", "Maybe we'll have it ready by next Christmas" and then today..... see Papa's note.
