The parachutes are in the mail

On Sunday, all 100 parachutes were put on the altar and we had special prayer. May the Lord use them to minister to the Columbian people. They are in the mail!

Another Visit with Bennett

They are from Kentucky and were traveling through. They spent a couple of days with us. This is actually the third time they have visited with each other since the Korean War. This is Bennett, that served alongside Papa in the Korean War and Papa credits him for saving him from injury and very possibly death. Our family is forever indebted to this hero!
Now this is relaxing! (Yes, we did have the heat on the sunporch)

Papa sure did enjoy his visit. Below you will hear a short video from the visit.

Parachute Factory

Mama and Papa have enjoyed making PARACHUTES! A spokesman from "The Voice of the Martyrs" came to our church and told about this ministry in Columbia that uses parachutes to send down literature, Bibles, etc. Mama Ward asked for the pattern and here she goes.... even Papa is involved. She has a goal of 100 and she has some other ladies helping her at church.

Papa cuts and burns (seals) the nylon cording.

We will keep you posted with the progress.

Hudson's first snow!

Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus

Pops and JDP running to the circus!
There was an opportunity to come early and walk around the floor and meet some characters!

This was just for "big boys". Hudson stayed home with Mama and Papa. He will be old enough soon. Let the show begin.

This was John David's favorite - the TIGERS!

Oh, the joys of "grandparenthood"!
